Danger Withdraws IPO
Palo Alto-based Danger, a developer of mobile handset software, said in a filing with the SEC Wednesday that it is withdrawing its IPO. According to the firm's filing, it has determined not to pursue the initial public offering, due to the firm's recently acquisition by Microsoft. Danger had filed for a $100M IPO in December, but entered into an acquisition agreement with Microsoft this month.
