Yahoo! Opens Bangalore R&D Site
Sunnyvale-based Yahoo! said late Monday that the firm has expanded its R&D operations, in India. According to Yahoo, the new lab will focus on developing next generation search and advertising technologies for the company. The new R&D center will be headed by Dr. Rajeev Rastogi. Rastogi was previously founding director of Bell Labs India. Yahoo did not say how many people it would employ at the new location.
