Mint.com Gets $12M
Mountain View-based Mint, an online site focused on helping people manage their finances, said today that it has raised $12M in a Series B funding round. The funding was led by Benchmark Capital, and also included prior investors Shasta Ventures and First Round Capital. Mint said the funding would go to further accelerate the firm's growth and product development. Mint operates an online, personal finance site which allows users to track their spending, bank accounts, and other finances. The firm had previously raised $4.7M in a Series A round last October.
