Wikia Taps Kaltura For Video
San mateo-based wiki software firm Wikia and Kaltura, which provides video uploading and editing tools, said today that the two have partnered to offer video on Wikia communities. According to the firms, Wikia has added Kaltura's collaborative video extension to its MediaWiki software and on several of its Wikia sites. Kaltura's tool allows users to upload and edit videos, audio stracks, slideshows, and animation.
