Rapt Acquired By Microsoft
San Francisco-based Rapt, which develops software for optimizing advertising yield management, has been acquired by Microsoft, Microsoft said today. Microsoft said that Rapt's technology will become part of Microsoft's Advertiser and PUblisher Solutions Group, and will be incorporated into its Atlas Publisher Suite. Rapt is backed by Accel Partners and Levensohn Venture Partners, and is headed by Tom Chavez.
