Zvents Hires Marketing VP
San Mateo-based Zvents, an online search engine for local events, said today that it has named Paul O'Brien as the firm's VP of Marketing. O'Brien has been at the firm since June of last year as its Marketing Director. O'Brien has previously served at Hewlett-Packard and Yahoo! Zvents is venture backed by NetService Ventures, Red Rock Ventures, and VantagePoint Venture Partners.
