Become.com Raises $17.5M
Mountain View-based Become.com, an online comparison shopping web site, said Tuesady that it has raised $17.5M from TPG Growth. TPG Growth will add operating partner Taek Kwon to Become.com's board of directors along with the funding. Become.com said that the move comes as it has its second consecutive quarter of profitability. Become.com operates an online comparison shopping search engine with a wide range of products.
