Oracle Buys Web Testing Software
Redwood Shores-based Oracle said today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the web testing software assets of Empirix, a provider of voice and web application testing software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. According to Oracle, the deal covers the Empirix e-TEST suite, which is used for web application testing. The software will be incorporated into Oracle's Enterprise Manager and Real Application Testing software.
