Burlingame-based MeeVee, a venture-backed, online web site focused on providing television listings and an entertainment directory, said Monday afternoon that it is looking for a buyer. According to a release from the firm, the company "has determined that combining with an established player will maximize the potential for the community, technology and content relationships the Company has built." MeeVee was venture backed by Labrador Ventures, WaldenVC, Edmond de Rothschild Venture Capital Management, and DEFTA Partners. The firm said it now has 7 full time employees, all in product and engineering.
