Qik Snaps Up $3M
San Mateo-based Qik, a provider of mobile live video streaming services, said Wednesday afternoon that it has raised $3M in a Series B funding. The funding came from Marc Benioff, Chairman and CEO of salesforce.com; Arjun Gupta, Founder and Managing Partner of Telesoft Partners; and George Garrick, President and CEO of Jingle Networks. Qik said that Garrick joins the firm's board as part of the funding. Qik was formerly known as Visivo Communications,
