Ruckus Wireless, a developer of Wi-Fi LAN products and technology, said Monday that it has launched operations in Bangalore, India. The firm, which is venture backed by Investor Growth Capital Ltd., Motorola, Sequoia Capital, Sutter Hill Ventures, and WK Technology Fund, said the expansion comes as part of a partnership with Dell in India, to jointly market the firm's products. Ruckus manufactures wi-Fi equipment which the firm says provides greater range and reliability than other 802.11 systems.
