AddVal Acquired By Accenture
Technology consulting giant Accenture said Thursday that it has agreed to acquire Cupertino-based AddVal, a provider of shipment management software and services for the freight management and airline cargo business. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to Accenture, the deal will bolster its Freight and Logistics practice with technology for freight order management. AddVal also maintains software development offices in Chennai, India.
