EoPlex Raises $8M
Redwood City-based EoPlex Technologies said last week that it has raised $4M in venture funding, to build out a full scale production plant for its cell phone antennas. The firm said the round was led by ATA Ventures, and included current investors Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Labrador Ventures, and Draper Richards. The new funding is an expansion of the firm's Series C funding, which initially closed at $8M. EoPlex Technologies is developing cell phone antennas based on custom printing of ceramic, metallic, and polymer materials.
