Lumos Labs Takes $3M For Brain Games
San Francisco-based Lumos Labs said today that it has raised $3M in a funding round for its brain training games. The funding came from Pequot Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, and existing investors, including Michael Dearing. Lumos Labs develops brain training games used to train and improve cognitive functions; the firm's technology is based on research from Stanford and UCSF. The firm was founded in 2005.
