RockPort Capital Partners Raises $450 For Cleantech Fund
Rockport Capital Partners said this week that it has raised $450M for a third venture capital fund focused on clean technology. The firm said that RockPort Fund III will invest in the development of technology and products in emerging clean tech companies. The $450M in commitments brings the firm to over $850M under management. RockPort Capital Partners is based in Boston with offices in Menlo Park; the firm was founded in 2000, and has made investments in almost 40 cleantech companies.
