Cupertino-based cloud storage software firm Parascale said Monday that it has raised $11.37M in a Series A financing round. The round was led by Charles River Ventures and Menlo Ventures. Parascale is developing storage software which uses standard Linux servers to provide NFS, HTTP, and FTP storage access; the firm says that its technology can scale from several terabytes to several petabytes of data. The funding will go towards Parascale's product development and marketing.
