SunRun Soaks Up $12M
San Francisco-based SunRun, a provider of residential solar electricity, said today that it has raised $12M in a funding round led by Foundation Capital. SunRun said that it was focused on providing "solar-as-a-service" to residential customers. The firm will offer rooftop solar electricity as a service, so that homeowners do not have to make a large capital investment in solar panels.
