Visa Links With Facebook, Gives Away Advertising
Credit card company Visa said this morning that the firm has linked up with social networking web site Facebook, with a Facebook application targeted at connecting small businesses on the site. According to Visa, its new "Visa Business Network" will use Facebook to allow small business owners to connect with peers and advisors. Part of the push is a giveaway of $2M in Facebook advertising credits to small business owners, including $100 in free ads to the first 20,000 members of its application. Features of the application include tools to find other business owners, links to business tools from Google, and an "Ask the Experts" section.
