iWatt Raises $12.4M
Los Gatos-based iWatt, a developer of power ICs and other related products, said this morning that it has raised $12.4M in a Series E funding round. The round was led by an unnamed strategic investor. Existing investors VantagePoint Venture Partners, Sigma Partners and Horizon Ventures also participated. iWatt said the funding round will go towards its working capital. iWatt's power semiconductors are used in AC-DC and DC-DC power conversion applications.
