PlaySpan Acquires PayByCash
Santa Clara-based PlaySpan said Wednesday that it has acquired PayByCash, a provider of alternative payment systems for the online games market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. PayByCash supports a number of payment methods which allow game publishers to accept payments in their online games, virtual worlds, and social networking sites. PlaySpan operates an in-game system focused on virtual goods marketplaces.
