Trovix Acquired By Monster
Mountain View-based Trovix, a provider of online job search services, has been acquired by online job board service Monster. Monster said that it paid $72.5M in cash for Trovix. Monster said it would implement Trovix technology to provide search capabilities to employers and job seekers. Trovix was venture backed by 3i, Granite Ventures, and US Venture Partners. Monster said that the Trovix location in Mountain View will remain open, with employees being integrated into Monster. The acquisition came in conjunction with the separate acquisition of Armees.com, a military focused site in France.
