Plastic Logic Raises $50M
Mountain View- and Cambridge, UK-based Plastic Logic, which develops plastic electronics targeted at flexible, thin displays, said today that it has raised $50M in a new equity financing round. The round was led by Oak Investment Partners and Amadeus Capital Partners, along with other prior investors. The round brings the company's total raised to $200M. Plastic Logic is a spinout of Cambridge University. The firm's Mountain View location is new, and includes management, product engineering, product supply chain, sales and marketing functions.
