Martinez, California-based AspenAir, a manufacturer of electronic air filtration products, has raised $500K in a convertible note from the Keiretsu Forum. The Keiretsu Forum, an angel investment group, said late Thursday that it made the investment ahead of a $2M, Series B funding goal for AspenAir. According to the angel group, the funding will go towards sales force expansion, marketing, and an enhanced web site or AspenAir. The Keiretsu Forum's Bay Area chapters -- including its East Bay, North Bay, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley chapters -- all participated in the funding.
