ThermaSource Raises $41.5M
Santa Rosa-based ThermaSource LLC, a provider of drilling, engineering and consulting services to the renewable geothermal energy sector, said this moring that it has raised $41.5M in a private equity financing. The funding came from Riverstone Holdings LLC, US Renewables Group, and Rustic Canyon Partners. ThermaSource said the funding will go to acquire geothermal drilling rigs and associated drilling services. According to the firm, the new funding round brings the company's total raised to $93M, including both equity and debt.
