Habeus Acquired By Return Path
Mountain View-based Habeus, a provider of email services, has been acquired by Return Path, Return Path said this morning. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Return Path said that the deal is expected to close on August 18th, and that it will keep the Mountain View office and most of the staff of Habeus. Both Habeus and Return Path provide email delivery services to marketers and others, aimed at improving email delivery rates and avoiding spam filters. Habeus was venture backed by Canaan Partners, Diamondhead Ventures and Skymoon Ventures.
