BitGravity Gets Funding From India's Tata
Burlingame-based content delivery network (CDN) provider BitGravity has raised $11.5M in an investment from India's Tata Communications, the firm said today. BitGravity said that Tata Communications, a strategic partner to the firm, invested $11.5M in convertible debt in BitGravity today. As part of the deal, John Hayduk, Chief Technology Officer at Tata Communications, has been named to BitGravity's board of directors. Tata and BitGravity have been partnered since March of this year.
