Trimble Buys Camera Systems Provider
Sunnyvale-based Trimble said earlier this week that it has acquired RolleiMetric, a manufacturer of camera systems for the aerial imaging market, from Rollei GmbH. Financial terms were not disclosed. Trimble said that it has acquired RolleiMetric, whose systems are used for aerial mapping, to broaden its portfolio of engineering scale mapping and asset management solutions. RolleiMetric will become part of Trimble's Engineering and Construction group.
