McAfee Acquires Secure Computing
Santa Clara-based McAfee said Monday that it has acquired Secure Computing, a provider of network security products. McAfee said it will pay approximately $465M in cash for Secure Computing, which is based in San Jose. Secure Computing develops network security products, including email security, firewalls, web filtering, and other Internet security. McAfee said Secure Computing will become part of its Network Security product business unit.
