ooma Raises $16M
Palo Alto-based ooma said this morning that it has scored $16M in a third round of funding. The round came from Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Worldview Technology Partners, The Founders Fund Management LLC, WI Harper Group, the Telecommunications Development Fund, and Draper Richards LP. According to ooma, it will use the funding to expand its retail distribution channels. ooma develops a hardware device that can be used in conjunction with a broadband connection to provide unlimited telephone service.
