San Francisco-based social networking site Friendster said late Thursday that the firm has added support for the Facebook Platform on its developer program. According to the firm, it now will support both OpenSocial and Facebook standards on its site. Friendster said that the move should allow developers to port their Facebook Applications to Friendster within hours or a few days. Friendster also supports OpenSocail and its own API. Friendster is venture backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Benchmark Capital, DAG Ventures, IDG Ventures and individuals.
