KPG Ventures Names General Partner
San Francisco-based venture capital firm KPG Ventures said Tuesday that it has appointed Dave Hills as a general partner at the firm. Hills joins the firm from LookSmart, where he was President, CEO, and Director. Hills has also served at 24/7 Real Media, About, Inc., and Cox Enterprises. KPG said that Hills will identify investments and guide KPG's portfolio companies. KPG Ventures is focused on seed-stage, consumer Internet investments. The firm's portfolio includes Doppelganger, NileGuide, SezWho, and Ribbit, among others.
