Billshrink Raises $8M
Redwood City-based Billshrink said today that it has raised $8M in a Series B venture round. The firm, which operates a service to help consumers switch cell phone service, credit cards, and other services to the best plans, said the round was led by Trinity Ventures, and also included prior investor Bessemer Venture Partners. Gus Tai of Trinity Venture will join the company's board of directors as part of the funding. BillShrink is headed by Peter Pham, who was previously at Photobucket; the company was founded by Schwark Satyavolu and Samir Kothari.
