Menlo Park-based private equity firm Accel-KKR said Tuesday that it has acquired a majority stake in The Endurance International Group, a provider of online tools for website creation, hosting, and web site management. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to Accel-KKR, Endurance is one of the largest providers of website hosting and online applications and services in the world. Endurance CEO Steve Sydness, EVPs Hari Ravichandran and Thomas Gorny, as well as other senior management staff at Endurance continue on with the firm.
