Expresso Fitness Launches New Cardio Bikes
Sunnyvale-based Expresso Fitness, a venture backed provider of cardio fitness systems, said today that it has launched a third generation of its upright and recumbent bikes. The firm's systems combine and exercise bike with monitoring systems for workouts, along with a video game-like screen with virtual terrain and interactive riding features. According to Expresso, the new cardio bikes include a 19" LCD screen, improved ergonomics, and abiltiy to race in over 30 virtual tours and race real-time against virtual competors, friends, or others. Expresso Fitness is venture backed by Enterprise Partners, Physic Ventures, and Sierra Ventures and has raised $29.80M in venture funding.
