WideOrbit Adds $10M
San Francisco-based WideOrbit announced Tuesday that it has raised $10M in an expansion funding, led by Mayfield Fund. WideOrbit, which develops billing software for the television, broadcast, and cable industry, said other investors in the round included Khosla Ventures, Greycroft Partners and the Hearst Corporation. The firms will go towards new products and serviecs for the firm's clients. Navin Chadda of Mayfield joins the firm's board, Rajeev Batra, also of Mayfield, joins as a board observer.
