HID Laboratories, a Menlo Park-based developer of intelligent lighting products, has scored a Series A investment, according to lead investor CalCEF Clean Energy Angel Fund I. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. American River Ventures, Greenhouse Capital Partners, and Big Sky Ventures all invested in the round; American River also was a seed stage investor alongside CalCEF.
