WiChorus Raises $18M
San Jose-based WiChorus, a developer of products for the WiMAX network, said Tuesday that it has raised $18M in a Series C funding round. According to the firm, the round was led by Pinnacle Ventures, and also included Redpoint Ventures, Mayfield Fund, and Accel Partners. The firm said that Ken Pelowski of Pinnacle joins the board as an observer in conjunction with the funding. The round will go towards working capital. The round brings the company's total raised to $43M.
