IntelePeer Raises $18M
San Mateo-based IntelePeer said this morning that it has raised $18M in a Series C funding round. According to Intelepeer, the new round was led by VantagePoint Venture Partners, and also included prior investors. The new funding will go towards expanding the firm's global presence and for business and technology development. Bill Harding of VantagePoint joins the firm's board of directors along with the funding. Intelepeer develops telecommunications infrastructure for exchanging voice traffic over IP, and similar applications.
