Mochi Media Names CEO
San Francisco-based online game advertising firm Mochi Media announced todya that George Garrick has been named CEO and Chairman of the firm's board of directors. The firm, which is venture backed by Accel Partners and Shasta Ventures, said that co-founder and former CEO Jameson Hsu led the search for the CEO position, and will continue to focus on product development. Garrick was formerly CEO of Flycast Communications, CEO of Jingle Networks, and also served at Wine.com, PlaceWare, and Information Resources Inc. Mochi Media said the appointment of Garrick will position the company for the next phase of growth.
