Los Gatos-based movie rental service Netflix announced today that it has connected its services to Xbox 360 video game and entertainment systems. Netflix said that its members will be able to stream movie and TV episodes to their TV via the upcoming Xbox Experience, which is premiering tomorrow. Netflix said the new service will be free to existing Netflix members, who are also Xbox LIVE Gold members. The Xbox 360 streaming deal will also include a number of HD selections, although the firm said that those titles will only play standard definition audio. Microsoft and Netflix announced they were working together on the Xbox version of Netflix in July. No financial terms of the deal have been announced.
