Menlo Park-based MDV-Mohr Davidow Ventures said Thursday that it has hired on two new executives to its team, focused on start-up opportunities in the health area. According to MDV, it has added Phyllis Whiteley as Executive-in-Residence, and Dan Riskin as Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Whiteley joins from 5AM Ventures, where she was a co-founder of Anaphore Inc. SHe has also served at Perlegen Sciences, Hoffman La Roche, and Merck. Riskin joins from Interventional Dynamics, and has also served at Roche Diagnostics.
