Glu Mobile Chops Jobs
San Mateo-based Glu Mobile said Tuesday afternoon that it is cutting jobs and operating expenses at the firm, as a result of the "increasing economic headwinds." According to Glu Mobile, the cuts will save the firm approximately $13M in annual costs. Specific number of employees affected by the cuts was not disclosed. In addition, Glu Mobile's CEO, Greg Ballard, said he has asked the board to reduce his salary by 25% as part of the cost reduction efforts.
