Trimble Buys Rawson Control Systems
Sunnyvale-based Trimble said Thursday that it has acquired the assets of Oelwein, Iowa-based Rawson Control Systems. According to Trimble, Rawson will become part of the firm's Trimble Agriculture Division. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Rawson Control Sysems manufactures hydraulic and electronic controls for the agriculture equipment industry; the firm's products connect to Trimble's FieldManager products, which use GPS to control seed, fertilizer, and other machinery.
