Google Drops Beta, Releases New Chrome
Mountain View-based Google said this morning that it has released a new version of the firm's Chrome browser, and has dropped the "beta" designation for the software. According to the firm, the latest version provides better stability, particularly with video plug-ins, loads faster, and adds better bookmark and privacy controls.
