Interwoven Acquired by Autonomy For $775M
San Jose-based software firm Interwoven said Thursday that it has agreed to be acquired by Autonomy Corporation plc, in a deal worth $16.20 in cash per share of the firm, or approximately $775M. Interwoven develops content management software used in the enterprise sector. Interwoven said that the transaction is expected to close by Q2 2009, and is subject to shareholder approval at both firms, plus Hart-Scott-Rodino antitrust clearance.
