Glam Media Buys AdaptiveAds
San Francisco-based Glam Media, the online content publisher of women's and other websites, said this morning that it has acquired an ad targeting and optimization firm, AdaptiveAds. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Glam Media said that the acquisition would be used for audience targeting and adaptive ad optimization on its network. AdaptiveAds is based in Mumbai, India, and is venture backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson. As part of the buy, Glam Media said it will open an office in Mumbai and establish an engineering presence in Pune, India, and also hire on 20 new employees as part of the acquisition.
