Ooyala Signs RunnerSpace.com
Mountain View-based Ooyala, a provider of online video distribution software and services, said Friday that the firm has been selected by vertical social network RunnerSpace.com. According to Ooyala, RunnerSpace.com will use the firm's services for its online video initiatives. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Ooyala is backed by more than $10M in funding, with backing from Sierra Ventures and others. The firm's founders are ex-Googlers.
