CallWave Sells Fax Business
San Francisco-based CallWave, a provider of unified communications services, said this morning that it has sold its legacy Fax business to Los Angeles-based j2 Global Communications. The deal was worth $12M. CallWave, which recently relocated to the Bay Area from Southern California, said the sale was part of a move to divest its non-core assets and focus greater assets on its current products. CallWave said the two companies also entered into a cross license of their intellectual property.
