Elevation Partners Invests In Marketing Software Firm
Menlo Park-based Elevation Partners, the private equity firm whose partners include Fred Anderson, Bret Pearlman, Marc Bodnick, Roger McNamee, and U2's Bono, has made an investment in MarketShare Partners, a firm which develops software which recommends the allocation of marketing to major brands and companies. Financial details of the minority investment were not disclosed. Ted Meisel, Senior Advisor at Elevation Partners, and President of Search Marketing at Yahoo!, joins MarketShare's board along with the funding.
