Redwood City-based Zuora. which is developing third party, subscription billing software, said today that it has launched a new product that connects its services to the social networking site Facebook. According to Zuora, its new Z-Commerce for Facebook product allows developer of facebook apps to charge their users using subscription and other pricing models. The firm said the new software includes ability for application developers to register their applications, set up price plans, and more. Zuora is venture backed by Shasta Ventures, Lehman Brothers Venture Partners, Benchmark Capital and Marc Benioff.
